Creative Arts Learning.

Our aim is to create outstanding and vibrant theatre for children and young people that inspired and fires their imagination.

We aim to reach as many children and young people who would perhaps not otherwise have the opportunity to experience theatre, participate or create their own work.

Bringing Books to Life
Key Stage 1 & 2.

The main aim of World Book Day is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books so here at ABOP we have developed workshops to help inspire children further by bringing the words on the page to life.

Unlocking the door
Key Stage 3, 4 & 5

ABOP's 'Too Close For Comfort Theatre Company' specialise in delivering high quality workshops, residencies and Theatre suitable for students at GCSE, BTEC and A Level.

ABOP  products have an interactive or forum theatre element; and are designed to enable the students to become an active audience and think for themselves.  Encouraging students to put themselves in the characters shoes & question 'what would I do?'

Delivered by professional actors, directors and educators the ABOP Theatre Programme offers a wide range of opportunities for young people to engage with theatre and performance art, connected either to the National Curriculum or as an extra curriculum activity.   ABOP understands that some important issues aren't included within the curriculum and are happy to offer projects on a bespoke basis.

ABOP projects support PSHE, Citizenship, History, Sociology, Psychology, Literature and Drama in schools.
